A new house with new friends

I'm in a great new place!  They call it a new foster home. Whatever!  I have two new friends:  Dash, he's my size but kind of shy. And Dixie, she's smaller and kind of silly. But we have SO many beds to choose from. We switch around about every 30 minutes.  As long as no one touches me, I'm happy.
I only got rice to eat tonight. Mom said my tummy would feel better tomorrow. But I really like rice. Cleaned my bowl!
We went for a walk tonight. All three of us. Mom said we were a " tangled mess". Not sure what that is. I got lots of pats because I'm the best walker. I want to stay right in the middle of the sidewalk. Those other two dogs zig zag all over the place. They are NOT well mannered like me!

Busy day. Time to go to bed. Mom's going to make me sleep in a crate because the other dogs do. Not happy about that at all, but seems to be the rule here. But we do get yummy treats.  Good night.
More news tomorrow.

Getting Settled In

Ari (Aristides) has been with us 6 days now.  He is settling in nicely.  He and Tessa, our greyhound, are becoming friends, they have been working out who is the boss of what.  Tessa has shared her toys without any argument and Ari loves toys. He loves to make the squeaker toys squeak and he tosses toys in the air and then tries to catch them.  If you throw toys for him he will run and grab them and take them back to his bed and play with them.
Ari loves going for walks.  He has good leash manners.  He and Tessa take the same pace when walking and sometimes try to play while on the leash.  Both Ari and Tessa love the snow and don't want to turn around to come back when I walk them, I am thinking they would have very cold feet and want to get back into the warm house!  As always, wishing I had a fenced yard, I think they would both have a great time rolling around in the snow.
Zoomies, oh my, Ari gets the zoomies at least once a day. He is so funny running circles in the living room and tossing toys around. Tessa can't figure out what the heck is going on.  They rest of the day is spent snoozing to recover from all the energy he used up zooming around!  Typical greyhound, sleeping most of the day away.
